Terrific $1.50 oyster happy hour from 5-6 PM on weekdays. May need reservation; valet parking. The past couple times we’ve been, somebody at the table said “this is the best meal I’ve had in…” The pre-dinner rolls are not to be missed!

Great place for a celebration; you’ll need reservations unless you sit at the bar (first come-first served). Small restaurant with attentive servers and rotating menu of delicious and unexpected food and cocktail combinations. Our chef friends are always impressed when we go!
Southern BBQ | $15-20 entrees | Summerhill
Collaboration between several famous Atlanta chefs; great ambiance and delicious food.
Large servings with sell-out model so if you’re particular, get there on the early side for the best selection. Large outdoor patio seating area.
Authentic Thai | $15-25 entrees | Summerhill
Relatively new restaurant serving Thai food. Very
popular and fairly authentic. May need reservations; they have a cute outdoor seating area. Location is easy for free street parking and feels very residential. Rotating menu.
Fancy American | $20-25 entrees | Midtown
Delicious food and cocktails. Rotating menu but one must-have staple – get the cracked pepper & honey goat cheese balls. Excellent martinis and great location next to Woodruff Arts Center & High
Museum. You’ll need to valet for parking but usually can get in without a reservation.
Korean | $15-20 entrees | East Atlanta Village
Tucked away in an alleyway/parking lot area with a hip undercover vibe, this spot has some great traditional Korean food along with a full bar and tasty cocktails. The restaurant’s in the heart of EAV so be sure to walk around and check out the neighborhood feel while you’re there.
